During this tour, we visit the Citadel of Sultan Saladin—one of the most important surviving citadels in Egypt—and the Mosque of Muhammad Ali Pasha. We then visit the Mosque-Madrasa of Sultan Hassan, the Al-Rifa'i Mosque, and the Mosque of Amr ibn al-Aas—the first mosque built in Egypt following the advent of Islam in 641 AD. Finally, we visit the Khan el-Khalili area, the oldest bazaar and market in Islamic Cairo.
